The act of writing
To begin the journey of writing a book, you don't have to be an act student who know all about literature. Most people say am not good in literature, I know nothing about metaphor, personification and how to make use of them. Writing of book don't work the way you think it. Number one thing you should know is, anybody can write a book. It does't matter if you have a poor writing tools. When I was in high school, I have a poor writing background, so poor men, but today, I found my self writing books on different genres. Am not an act student but still, I love to write, write and write. Same has you too, you don't have to be a professional before you begin the act of writing a book. To write a book is quite simple if only you can follow those rules and step guiding what you want to write about.
In this book, am going to share you some stories of those who found the act of writing a book and today they are billionaire just by writing a book. This may challenge you has well. One day, I was in library reading a book title RICH DAD POOR DAD, some years back. I learn from the story of Robert Koyosaki who shared his experience on how he begin to learn how to get rich in real estate. Here is the story ;
I had two fathers, a rich one and a poor one. One was highly educated and intelligent; he had a Ph.D. and completed four years of undergraduate work in less than two years. He then went on to Stanford University, the University of Chicago, and Northwestern University to do his advanced studies, all on full financial scholarships. The other father never finished the eighth grade. Both men were successful in their careers, working hard all their lives. Both earned substantial incomes. Yet one struggled financially all his life. The other would become one of the richest men in Hawaii. One died leaving tens of millions of dollars to his family, charities and his church. The other left bills to be paid. Both men were strong, charismatic and influential. Both men offered me advice, but they did not advise the same things. Both men believed strongly in education but did not recommend the same course of study. If I had had only one dad, I would have had to accept or reject his advice. Having two dads advising me offered me the choice of contrasting points of view; one of a rich man and one of a poor man. Instead of simply accepting or rejecting one or the other, I found myself thinking more, comparing and then choosing for myself. The problem was, the rich man was not rich yet and the poor man not yet poor. Both were just starting out on their careers, and both were struggling with money and families. But they had very different points of view about the subject of money. For example, one dad would say, âââ¬Ã
âThe love of money is the root of all evil.âââ¬Ã The other, âââ¬Ã
âThe lack of money is the root of all evil.âââ¬Ã As a young boy, having two strong fathers both influencing me was difficult. I wanted to be a good son and listen, but the two fathers did not say the same things. The contrast in their points of view, particularly where money was concerned, was so extreme that I grew curious and intrigued. I began to start thinking for long periods of time about what each was saying. Much of my private time was spent reflecting, asking myself questions such as, âââ¬Ã
âWhy does he say that?âââ¬Ã and then asking the same question of the other dad's statement. It would have been much easier to simply say, âââ¬Ã
âYeah, he's right. I agree with that.âââ¬Ã Or to simply reject the point of view by saying, âââ¬Ã
âThe old man does't know what he's talking about.âââ¬Ã Instead, having two dads whom I loved forced me to think and ultimately choose a way of thinking for myself. As a process, choosing for myself turned out to be much more valuable in the long run, rather than simply accepting or rejecting a single point of view. One of the reasons the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and the middle class struggles in debt is because the subject of money is taught at home, not in school. Most of us learn about money from our parents. So what can a poor parent tell their child about money? They simply say âââ¬Ã
âStay in school and study hard.âââ¬Ã The child may graduate with excellent grades but with a poor person's financial programming and mind-set. It was learned while the child was young. Money is not taught in schools. Schools focus on scholastic and professional skills, but not on financial skills. This explains how smart bankers, doctors and accountants who earned excellent grades in school may still struggle financially all of their lives. Our staggering national debt is due in large part to highly educated politicians and government officials making financial decisions with little or no training on the subject of money. I often look ahead to the new millennium and wonder what will happen when we have millions of people who will need financial and medical assistance. They will be dependent on their families or the government for financial support. What will happen when Medicare and Social Security run out of money? How will a nation survive if teaching children about money continues to be left to parents-most of whom will be, or already are, poor? Because I had two influential fathers, I learned from both of them. I had to think about each dad's advice, and in doing so, I gained valuable insight into the power and effect of one's thoughts on one's life. For example, one dad had a habit of saying, âââ¬Ã
âI can't afford it.âââ¬Ã The other dad forbade those words to be used. He insisted I say, âââ¬Ã
âHow can I afford it?âââ¬Ã One is a statement, and the other is a question. One lets you off the hook, and the other forces you to think. My soon-to-be-rich dad would explain that by automatically saying the words âââ¬Ã
âI can't afford it,âââ¬Ã your brain stops working. By asking the question âââ¬Ã
âHow can I afford it?âââ¬Ã your brain is put to work. He did not mean buy everything you wanted. He was fanatical about exercising your mind, the most powerful computer in the world. âââ¬Ã
âMy brain gets stronger every day because I exercise it. The stronger it gets, the more money I can make.âââ¬Ã He believed that automatically saying âââ¬Ã
âI can't afford itâââ¬Ã was a sign of mental laziness. Although both dads worked hard, I noticed that one dad had a habit of putting his brain to sleep when it came to money matters, and the other had a habit of exercising his brain. The long-term result was that one dad grew stronger financially and the other grew weaker. It is not much different from a person who goes to the gym to exercise on a regular basis versus someone who sits on the couch watching television. Proper physical exercise increases your chances for health, and proper mental exercise increases your chances for wealth. Laziness decreases both health and wealth. My two dads had opposing attitudes in thought. One dad thought that the rich should pay more in taxes to take care of those less fortunate. The other said, âââ¬Ã
âTaxes punish those who produce and reward those who don't produce.âââ¬Ã One dad recommended, âââ¬Ã
âStudy hard so you can find a good company to work for.âââ¬Ã The other recommended, âââ¬Ã
âStudy hard so you can find a good company to buy.âââ¬Ã One dad said, âââ¬Ã
âThe reason I'm not rich is because I have you kids.âââ¬Ã The other said, âââ¬Ã
âThe reason I must be rich is because I have you kids.âââ¬Ã One encouraged talking about money and business at the dinner ,table. The other forbade the subject of money to be discussed over a meal. One said, âââ¬Ã
âWhen it comes to money, play it safe, don't take risks.âââ¬Ã The other said, âââ¬Ã
âLearn to manage risk.âââ¬Ã One believed, âââ¬Ã
âOur home is our largest investment and our greatest asset.âââ¬Ã The other believed, âââ¬Ã
âMy house is a liability, and if your house is your largest investment, you're in trouble.âââ¬Ã Both dads paid their bills on time, yet one paid his bills first while the other paid his bills last. One dad believed in a company or the government taking care of you and your needs. He was always concerned about pay raises, retirement plans, medical benefits, sick leave, vacation days and other perks. He was impressed with two of his uncles who joined the military and earned a retirement and entitlement package for life after twenty years of active service. He loved the idea of medical benefits and PX privileges the military provided its retirees. He also loved the tenure system available through the university. The idea of job protection for life and job benefits seemed more important, at times, than the job. He would often say, âââ¬Ã
âI've worked hard for the government, and I'm entitled to these benefits.âââ¬ÃÂ

The second story I will like to share with you is about the story of the first female to become a billionaire just by writing a book. Do you want to know her, ok, read on.
Here is her story
Joanne Rolling grew up surrounded by books as her mum and dad loved reading âââ‰â¬Å she says, âââ¬ÃÅI lived for books âââ¬Ã¦ I was your basic common-or-garden bookworm, complete with freckles and National Health spectacles.âââ‰â¢ From an early age Joanne wanted to be a writer. She wrote her first book at the age of six âââ‰â¬Å a story about a rabbit called Rabbit. Then when she was eleven she wrote a novel about seven cursed diamonds and the people who owned them.
Joanne went to school at Wyedean Comprehensive School and then went on to study French and Classics at the University of Exeter. Her Classics studies would come in very handy later when she was thinking up all the spells in Harry Potter, some of which are based on Latin!
J.K. Rowling first had the idea for Harry Potter while delayed on a train travelling from Manchester to London Kingâââ‰â¢s Cross in 1990. Over the next five years, she began to plan out the seven books of the series. She wrote mostly in longhand and amassed a mountain of notes, many of which were on scraps of paper.
She arrived in Edinburgh in 1993 with three chapters of Harry Potter and the Philosopherâââ‰â¢s Stone in her suitcase. By now she had a baby daughter, Jessica, but she continued to write in every spare moment she could find. When Joanne had finished the manuscript, she sent the first three chapters to a number of literary agents, one of whom wrote back asking to see the rest of it. She says that it was âââ¬ÃÅthe best letter I had ever received in my lifeâââ‰â¢.
After finishing the first book and whilst training as a teacher, Harry Potter was accepted for publication by Bloomsbury. Harry Potter and the Philosopherâââ‰â¢s Stone quickly became a bestseller on publication in 1997. As the book was translated into other languages, Harry Potter started spreading round the globe âââ‰â¬Å and J.K. Rowling was soon receiving thousands of letters from fans.
The Harry Potter books have since broken many records. In 2007 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows became the fastest-selling book ever, selling 2.65 million in the first 24 hours in the UK. The Harry Potter series is now published in 80 languages, and over 500 million copies have been sold across the world. J.K. Rowling has also written three companion volumes in aid of charity: Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (in aid of Comic Relief and Lumos); and The Tales of Beedle the Bard (in aid of Lumos). In 2015 J.K. Rowling's 2008 Harvard commencement speech was published under the title 'Very Good Lives: The Fringe Benefits of Failure and the Importance of Imagination' (in aid of Lumos and university financial aid at Harvard). In 2012, J.K. Rowlingâââ‰â¢s digital company Pottermore was launched, which became Wizarding World Digital in 2019. Pottermore Publishing continues to be the global digital publisher of Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts and the Wizarding World. J.K. Rowling has written a film script inspired by Fantastic Beasts and Where to find Them, with the film due for release in Autumn 2016. In addition to J.K Rowling's collaboration on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II, an original new story by J.K.Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, a new play by Jack Thorne, she is also making her screenwriting debut with the film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a further extension of the wizarding world, due for release in November 2016.
Since the success of the Harry Potter series, J. K. Rowling has become the best selling living author in the United Kingdom. She was ranked as the forty eighth most powerful celebrity in 2007. She is also one of the twelve richest women in the world. In 2010 she was chosen as one of the most influential women in Britain by the leading magazine editors in the area.
But today, J. k Rowling books has made her a Billionaire just for writing a book. "Harry potter " was are best selling book worth 400 million copies, which was sold. Forbes announce her as the first person to become a billionaire by writing books. Her Net worth has at than was âââ¬Å¡Ã¬238M.
