UNRIGHTEOUSNESS
By: NOBLEINK
Description
This is a satirical poem that touches aspect most especially in the church of God.
Stay blessed ??
*U N R I G T H E O U S N E S S*
Sisters taking up the act of sinister,
and also climbing the altar to minister.
Ministering in the word,
After dwelling in the world
With the hope that no one will see her.
Remember, God is a seer.
At church she prayed,
In the world she preyed.
Preaching to the young and old
Yet, she is neither warm nor cold.
Youths swimming daily in lust
while many souls have been lost
They have forsaken their self
to the irredeemable depths of hell.
If actions are not taken,
They would be forcefully taken.
You sing beautifully at the church
albeit your soul run from God.
Your character outside the church
Is as of those in the world.
You led many souls astray
while your conscience wane away.
You're seen as meek,
Yet you go visiting the devil's hut in the week
Who do you think you're deceiving?
Me? God? You deserve no pity.
You hold the mic,
Innocent soul revels to the sky.
Yet, you don't know your God,
And you expect grace to abound?
You think you're covering your sin,
You think you're not seen,
Who do you think you're deceiving?
Don't be shocked,
For our God cannot be mocked.
You preach what is in the Bible,
Yet you're not friends with the Bible.
You have the gift of speaking in tongues,
Yet your life is full of thorns.
Remember the Bible says;
"All unrighteousness is sin
All our righteousness are as filthy rags
And we all do fade as a leaf;
and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."
